What Happens When You Visit This Site

NoSpyEmail (nospyemail.com) is an independent information site about privacy and security products. We do not sell a product, we do not host an account system, and we do not ask you for your personal information. This page says exactly what happens when you visit.
What we do not collect
There is no sign-up, no login, no newsletter, no comment box and no contact form on this site. We do not ask for your name, your email address or your payment details, and we have no way to store them.
What is collected automatically
Hosting
This site is served by Cloudflare. Like every web host, Cloudflare records standard request information — your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's user-agent string — to deliver the page and to protect the site from abuse. Cloudflare's handling of that data is covered by its own privacy policy.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google your IP address, the page you are on, and basic device and browser information. Google Analytics 4 does not store the full IP address.
We use this only to understand which articles are useful. We do not use it to identify you, we do not connect it to any other data, and we do not sell it. Google's handling of that data is covered by Google's privacy policy.
You can stop it. The Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on blocks it on every site that uses Google Analytics. Any tracker-blocking extension or browser will also block it, and this site works normally without it.
Fonts
Page text is set in a font loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser requests that file from Google, so Google receives your IP address and user-agent when the page loads.
Provider icons
Some comparison tables show a provider's icon, loaded from Google's favicon service. Your browser requests that image from Google, so Google receives your IP address and user-agent when the page loads.
Cookies
The only cookies this site sets are the Google Analytics cookies described above, plus any cookie Cloudflare needs to serve and protect the page. We set no cookies of our own, and nothing on this site reads or writes anything else in your browser's storage.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you follow one and sign up, we may earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it is how the site is paid for.
When you click an affiliate link you leave this site and land on the provider's own site. From that moment you are on their service, under their privacy policy, not ours. To credit the referral, the provider records that you arrived from us — normally as a tag on the link and a cookie they set on their own site. We never receive your name, your email address, your account details or your payment details from them. What we see is a count of sign-ups, with no person attached.
A commission does not buy a recommendation. We write what we think, and we say when a product is not the right fit.
Children
This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 16.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information is held about you, to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or to object to it being processed. Because this site holds no account and no contact record, in practice there is nothing here to look up under your name.
